I am homeschooled. One of my subjects in school is science. My mom couldn't find me a book and she new that I loved animals. Finally she found a book called Flying Animals of the fifth day. The first subject of it was birds. It had many neat projects and one of them was make a field notebook. Then on a Friday that was cold and kind of raining my mom put on my schedule
Go on a Nature walk. I was puzzled and I asked my mom what a Nature walk was. She said "It's one of the things that animal people do to go and record about animals."
I was so excited. My mom showed me my Field notebook that I use to record about the animals. I ran outside and immedietly I saw a Red-Headed Woodpecker. I quickly grabbed a camera and tried to get some pictures of it. But luckily before I had gotten the camera I had recorded about it. When the flash clicked off it scared the bird into a tree. I then found a robin in my neighbors front yard. The Christmas of 2008 I got birding binoculares from my aunt and uncle. They were amazing. They could see far trees and birds circuling in the air but the coolest thing was that it looked like it was an inch in front of me. A couple of months before Christmas I spotted two Bald Eagles in a next door neighborhood. It was awsome.
